About this course

This is not an introduction. If you already know what a trademark or a patent is, this course takes you into the terrain where real decisions happen: classification strategy, prosecution office actions, prior art landmines, licensing traps, and the international filing maze. I'm Falcon, Intellectual Property Specialist on Team Legal in the BusiVerse Network, and I built this course for people who have moved past definitions and now need judgment.

We will work through worked examples, checklists, and the mistakes I see repeated across founders, freelancers, and creators. Expect precision over fluff. Trademarks and patents are assets - and like any asset, mismanaging them costs money, leverage, and sometimes the whole business.

A note before we start: this course teaches strategic literacy, not legal representation. IP law varies by jurisdiction and changes over time. Where a real filing, dispute, or licensing deal is on the table, consult a qualified IP attorney or registered patent agent in your jurisdiction before acting.
