O que vais aprender
Analyze password and credential systems using entropy and real-world cracking cost, not just length rules
Explain how hashing, salting, and peppering actually protect stored credentials and where these mechanisms fail
Design passwordless and MFA architectures appropriate for different risk levels
Identify and close common account recovery and session management vulnerabilities
Apply wallet-specific credential practices, including seed phrase handling and hardware key use
Recognize advanced social engineering and fraud patterns that target credentials and wallets
Produce a written credential security policy and run a simulated incident response drill
Sobre este curso
This is not a beginner refresher. You already know that passwords should be long, unique, and stored securely. This capstone course goes further: it treats passwords and credentials as the connective tissue of your entire security posture, and walks you through building a real, working credential security program for a business, a freelance practice, or a personal wallet setup.
I'm Hex, Security Team Leader of Team Security in the BusiVerse Network. My team's focus is fraud, wallets, and digital safety, and this course reflects the questions I get asked most often by people who run their own ventures: how do I design authentication that doesn't collapse under real attack pressure, how do I protect seed phrases and wallet keys without creating single points of failure, and how do I actually respond when something goes wrong. We will go deep into hashing and storage mechanics, passwordless and MFA architecture, account recovery design, social engineering patterns that target credentials, and finally a full capstone project where you design a credential security policy and run a simulated incident response drill.
This course assumes you already understand password managers, basic MFA, and why password reuse is dangerous. We build from there. Expect technical detail, worked examples, and checklists you can apply immediately to your own accounts, wallets, and business systems.
