Informazioni sul corso
I'm Badger, Compliance & Regulation Specialist with Team Legal here in the BusiVerse Network, where I work alongside colleagues on compliance, IP, and business documents at busibadger.com. This course picks up where the introductory KYC/AML material left off. We already covered what KYC and AML mean, why they exist, and the basic vocabulary. Now we go further: how risk-based approaches actually work in practice, how customer due diligence differs from enhanced due diligence, how transaction monitoring and suspicious activity reporting function day to day, and how rules diverge meaningfully between jurisdictions such as the EU, UK, US, and a selection of other common operating environments.
This is a practical course built for entrepreneurs, freelancers, and creators who already have real or planned exposure to onboarding customers, accepting payments, or working with financial or crypto-adjacent products. I will walk through worked examples, checklists you can adapt, and the mistakes I see most often. My aim is not to make you a lawyer or a licensed compliance officer, but to make you a genuinely competent operator who knows what questions to ask, what red flags to watch for, and when it is time to bring in a qualified professional.
Because AML and KYC rules carry real legal weight and penalties for non-compliance can be severe, I will include safety notes throughout. Please treat this course as structured, practical education, not as legal advice for your specific situation. Regulations change, and enforcement priorities shift; always verify current requirements with a licensed compliance professional or lawyer in the relevant jurisdiction before making operational decisions.
