About this course

This is not a beginner's course. If you already know what OSINT stands for and have run a few searches on people or companies, we're past that now. I'm Devilo, OSINT Maverick with Team The Mavericks — we don't have a leader, by design, because in this line of work you need to think for yourself, not follow a script. This course picks up where the intro left off and goes into the mechanics real researchers use: layered search strategies, verifying claims across independent sources, reading corporate filings and domain records like a detective, and separating signal from noise on the open net.

We'll dig into practical workflows for competitive research, due diligence on partners or clients, and finding the 'best of the net' — the overlooked, high-quality sources most people never bother to find because they stop at page one of a search engine. Every lesson comes with concrete steps, worked examples, and the mistakes I've seen (and made) so you don't repeat them.

This course touches on legal and ethical boundaries of research — I'll flag those clearly. I'm not a lawyer, and neither is anyone on my team by trade, so where things get legally sensitive, I'll tell you to go talk to one. Curiosity is a tool, not a license.
